Increase student engagement and retention

Educators often source their videos from a variety of websites and services, and it can be challenging to keep track of the videos they’ve found.

ClassHook - https://www.classhook.com/ - wants to streamline the process of organising videos so that educators can focus on helping their learners extract the most learning from them.

ClassHook  have announced their “Personal Clips feature” - http://www.blog.classhook.com/2019/04/21/manage-all-of-your-favorite-videos-on-classhook/ - which could be a good way to have a set of videos cued-up and ready to display in the educator’s learning environment(s) without jumping from tab to tab or site to site.

Educators will soon be able to use the Pause Prompts feature with all Personal Clips regardless of the source of the video.

However, in the meantime they can use Pause Prompts with videos that they find through the ClassHook platform.

Pause Prompts are discussion prompts that appear while any chosen video is playing.

The Pause Prompts automatically pause the video until users are ready to advance it.

You can Learn more about ClassHook's Pause Prompts by watching Richard Byrne’s video clip at https://www.youtube.com/embed/NUPqgbdWMT0

If you give “ClassHook " a try or have already used " ClassHook “, do share your feedback, positive and/or negative, in the comments.

Thank you
